Meet the Doctor

Brian Danshaw, D.O., provides spine surgery services and is on staff at USMD Hospital at Arlington.

Dr. Brian Danshaw is originally from the DFW region and grew up in Colleyville, Texas. He attended Tufts University in Medford, MA for his undergraduate degree and then completed medical school and his orthopedic surgical residency at Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in Philadelphia, PA. Afterwards, Dr. Danshaw completed his spine surgery fellowship at New England Baptist Hospital in Boston, MA. His spine surgical practice was in Philadelphia, PA prior to his return to Fort Worth. Dr. Danshaw specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of a wide variety of cervical, thoracic, and lumbar spinal disorders. He trained in a wide range of minimally invasive techniques, including endoscopic spinal surgery. Due to his training and practice in both minimally invasive techniques as well as complex revision surgery, part of Danshaw’s philosophy is to tailor a patient specific treatment plan based on their personal needs. He believes in taking a team approach when treating each patient and recognizes the importance of evaluating the individual as a whole in order to develop the best treatment plan possible.
