Meet the Doctor

Riya Vyas, D.P.M. provides Podiatry services and is on staff at USMD Hospital at Arlington.

Dr. Vyas is a Diplomate, American Board of Podiatric Medicine & Board Certified, American Board of Podiatric Medicine. She earned her medical degree from Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She then completed an extensive three-year foot and ankle reconstructive surgical residency program at Mercy Health St. Vincent in Toledo, Ohio, a Level 1 Trauma Center. Her training specialized in diabetic limb salvage, elective forefoot procedures, and minimally invasive surgery. Dr. Vyas grew up in Columbus, Ohio, where she earned her undergraduate degree at The Ohio State University with a major in biology and minors in Spanish and public health. She enjoys working with patients to tailor a treatment plan that is suitable for their needs, preferences, and lifestyles. She believes in pursuing surgery only when warranted.
