Over 20,000 Robotic Surgeries Performed
Arlington, TX –January 13, 2025– USMD Hospital at Arlington is proud to announce a significant milestone in our commitment to advanced medical technology and patient care. We have now performed over 20,000 robotic surgeries, solidifying our position as a leader in minimally invasive surgical techniques.
Since the introduction of robotic surgery at our hospital, we have continuously embraced innovation to enhance surgical precision, reduce recovery times, and improve patient outcomes. This achievement reflects the dedication and expertise of our surgical teams and the trust our patients place in us.

USMD Hospital at Arlington is equipped with five state-of-the-art robotic systems, including the two newest additions, the Single Port (SP) and the DV5. We are excited to be one of only 4 hospitals in North Texas to have the Da Vinci SP robot and are particularly proud to have the busiest single port robot in the country. These advanced technologies allow for greater surgical precision, smaller incisions, less pain, and shorter hospital stays, enabling us to treat a wide range of conditions with exceptional accuracy and efficiency.
